#15. Good bye everyone!

      Hello everyone! I'm Han-Byul. I think the time just really flies. It seems like yesterday that we started writing post, but we are writing the last post already. I can't believe it! I'm going to be a third year next year, so I am very sad.
     I had always great time, even though I wasn't a good writer. In actuality, it was a little hard to me. But I think the path of learning is long and winding. So I will keep studying English during this winter vacation. I felt the English ability of our class is quite good. I need to improve English ability.
     I look forward to meeting you all in another essay class. I wish you all the best. Well, I'll cut this short for now. Good-bye ! :)

   Unlike past public employees, today's employees have more needs and concerns regarding successful fulfillment of their family life as well as success in their workplace for a high quality life. Satisfaction and happiness in employees' family life can have a positive impact on the workplace.'^ After all, employees want to succeed in three arenas of their lives: work, family, and self-development. They want to find ways to accommodate all three domains without sacrificing any one domain. However, it does not seem that organizations recognize the importance of family life because they worry that such family life has a negative impact on organizational productivity. This is a dilemma that aiises when seeking a balance between work and family. If satisfaction in employees' family life is an inevitable factor that should be pursued in modern personnel administration, employers need to establish various management policies to accommodate both work and family rather than to separate them.

    Most passengers want to get to their destination. A very small number, by my estimates about one in a few billion, desire immortality and believe they will achieve some greater objective by blowing themselves up and taking hundreds of their fellow passengers with them. The problem for the authorities is how to intercept this small number of individuals and frustrate their plans.
    There are two different philosophies. The Israeli view is that one looks for the perpetrator, not the tool or weapon. All passengers about to board a flight are interviewed. Many in this country erroneously describe the process as "profiling," but I think a better description would be "triage." The Israeli view is that one does not waste time and resources on passengers who do not pose any threat to safety and security.

#.12 a simple pleasure Somking!

        Smokers know the harm of tobacco. Smoking is bad for one's health. Smokers are often treated as an unhappy person and they are living under many restrictions. Nevertheless, there are some reasons why they are still smoking.

        First, the economic cost of smokers to society is very big. If it were not for smokers, our society would have many bankruptcy of companies which cultivate tobacco plants, make cigarette lighter and a tobacco-manufacturing plant etc. The bankruptcy throw society into confusion. To prevent confusing, someone should smoke a cigarette.

        Second, smokers can have many enjoyments through a cigarette. Smoking is a cheap and effective way to relieve one's stress. Stress makes someone's immune system can’t fight off germs. Therefore it is important for smokers to prevent their stress. Smoking is a good way to recharge your batteries. By smoking, smokers can feel better, fight off sleepiness, keep awake cheaply in a very short time.

        In conclusion, I think moderate smoking isn't bad. But they have to pay a great cost for their health. Smokers have to notice that they must do regular exercise . This isn't easy but it is very important to keep their health. In this way, there will be less people became sick.

#. 11 let's quit smoking

        I really don't like smoking. According to World Health Organization (WHO), the world death toll from the smoking reached 3500000 because of smoking-related diseases every year. Everyone knows the harm of tobacco. Smoking is bad for around people's health as well as oneself because the smell of smoke is very harmful to nonsmokers. I feel very sorry when I know my friends are heavy smokers. I'll do my best to convince smokers, but it is very difficult to quit smoking. The reason os tobacco is a kind of drug. But if smokers know exactly why smoking is very harmful for themselves, they could stop smoking more easily.

         Smoking is very injurious to smoker's health. If someone smoking poisonous substance of tobacco, they sniff about 4000 bad chemical components. That's why smokers have higher chance of getting lung cancer than nonsmokers. Smoke a cigarette can cause lung cancer, oral cancer, pharynx cancer, etc. Furthermore, it bring on pneumonia and high blood pressure.

          Quit smoking will reduce your risk of dying from many diseases. And also they are another side effects of cigarette except health problems. For example, if someone beside you smoke in your space, you might feel very bad and disgusting. Like this, there exists too much bad things with smokers for themselves and also for others. In conclusion, i think the smoking should be stopped or decreased at least.

            In your life, the cultural activity is very important especially include many kinds of interesting hobbies.       As globalize spread to the whole world, one of the most weakest country which don't  focus on using English, Japan and Japanese company, especially Rakuten think the important of ability of communicate in foreign language. But originally Japan's English education was very famous for poor and fragment knowledge. Students study not to be good speaker or writer but to pass the exam. And so their ability of using English was not so good, in fact very poor, because of that, some people think Japanese don't have ability to learn and use English. But as importance of English become more and more, Japan government announced that all the high school English class will be taught in English not Japanese.
    Nowadays,  the importance of English becomes more and more in every country, not just for in Japan. Korea also focus on English like Japan. Of course to learn foreign language is not so easy for not only Japanese but also everyone. But in my opinion, in age of globalization, the common language is very important and indispensable in every life, economy, politics, culture, even daily life such as buying small T-shirts. So the attitude of Japanese company is surely understandable for me and Japanese people have to depart from closed-mind and realize nowaday's stream of times.

#8. The grand prix

       The grand prix is a movie about two horse riders. The main characters are Kim, tae hee and Yang, dong geun. An actress is so famous in korea, and an actor is good at acting. An actress has a brilliant career of horse racing, but one day she fall from a horse. Her shoulder is hurt by her fall. She meet him at Je-Ju island by chance. He likes her so he makes an appointment with intent to date. He helps that she can be restored. The message of The grand prix is that 'we can do it!' We can do it anything whenever our day is very tough.

       Many people think this movie is normal, but I think it was a great movie. The movie came up to our expectations but the movie was impressive. Because the actor's performance was so amazing, I felt touching. I think that people who are hopeless receive confidence through this movie. I recommend this special movie

Come to Romantic Rome

      Roman Holiday, my favorite movie, is one of classics. This romantic drama's scenes are the Rome. The movie is a black-and-white film because it was released in 1950's. The princess Ann visited Rome but she was tired of too many conditions and determined schedules. She escaped from a palace after all. When she slept on a bench, Joe Bradley, reporter , brought her to his house. He knew she is a princess by chance. He decided to using her as a news item, therefore follow her. The princess enjoyed free life like a cutting hair. He appeared in front of her in disguising coincidence and asked a date. While dating, he took pictures. After they separated, he realized he loves her. Finally he didn't open pictures and say good-bye with eyes in a press interview.

       After I saw this movie, I was impressed a pure love but one the other an end is too realistic. And I knew a masterpiece is not just made a gorgeous tone of color and setting. Although it is a old black-and-white film, I could feel Audres's charming. Audery Hapburn, a lovely heroine, showed her fascination. If you want a beautiful date, I recommend this movie. You can do indirect experience like a sweet and wonderful dream.

#6 sweet and sour unrequited love

        I have kept the memories of my first love in my heart all in my life. If i'll pardon the expression, but my first love was sweet and sour unrequited. I was a middle school student when I met him. I fell in love at first sight. He was so gentle and nice guy.Every grils liked him. I rarely expressed my emotions. But I couldn't keep my feeling in secret, so I told to my teacher! What a nice of her.  She tried to help me, but she was too amatuear cupid to help me. In English class, there was a role play which story was about a couple who loves each other very much.
She made me and him to play it! I was so embarrassed that I stammered. It made me to feel embarrased because I thought he noticed my feeling. and all my classmates were laughing at me.  Looking back on it now, that was quite a cute happening in my life. . And I want to say "Thank you!" to my cupid teacher.

#5. one event I want to forget.

     In 2003 summer, my class volunteered at the gymnasium. After cleaning up the trash, we played with sporting goods. Some of my friends and I wanted to run a relay, so we went to the track. The track didn't have a roof and the sun was glaring down. In that place, we ran at full speed. Our clothes were thoroughly soaked with sweat and we dropped into a ground. That moment I detected something was not quite right. I recognized it the instant I saw the ground and shouted "Look at the earthworm!!!!" There were a lot of worms anywhere , and they died of sunlight without roof.

     To tell the truth, I really hate like earthworm. I was so surprised that I almost passed out. Because the earthworm was on every side and I was the middle of the track. Then one of my friends took me to the outside on his back. I cried loudly like a baby. I think it was so embarrassed experience. And I am grateful for his help. Since then I have a nightmare about that situation. And I am still scared of earthworm.

the Beautirul Deok Su Palace

   

    Last weekend was a fine weather for a picnic, so I went to Deok Su Palace with my acquaintances to take pictures. I like to introduce Deok Su Palace because there was very impressive to me.

     The palace is located near the City Hall Station. When you go out from the station, you can see a famous stone wall, then go straight and turn right, you can see the Deok Su Palace. At the entrance of Palace, performers played traditional music. The place has an art museum, statue of King Se-Jong and natural cryptomeria wood as well as the traditional Palace buildings. Different from the other Five Grand palace in Seoul, Deok Su Palace has western style buildings. I was particularly interested in Seok Jo Jeon, but that building was under construction. After we saw the buildings, we move to the natural wood. In the shade of a tree, many people take a rest. I took pictures of wonderful landscape there. After sightseeing, I was very tired, but I enjoyed a lot. The palace is very crowded with many couples, photographers and tourists in weekend. I hope you too visit there and make a pleasurable experience.

*Assignment 3

    Fortunately this Chuseok holiday is very long. Nowadays I was very busy for a lot of homeworks or studies, so I didn't have much time to do what I want to. So I want to do many things that I didn't do during school-life. First of all, I really want to take a rest and sleep all day long. But except rest, I want to develop my self, such as read instructive books or study. And most of all, I will go to my grandparents house, meet my beloved family, and want to talk and play with them. Like this, I will have a good time with my family and my self. And of course with many delicious foods!

*Assignment 2

     In korea, there are various singers and rappers, but I think Tiger JK(same as Drunken Tiger) is most greatest rapper in the whole korea. In my opinion Tiger JK is real good man. There are a few reason that I think like this, among them I want to talk about his life and personality, etc. JK was the first rapper in our country. Almost twenty years ago, there are no people who rap or who want to listen rap music. But there were just one rapper, Tiger JK. He was originally korean, but because of financial problem of his family, he went to america and came back to become a rapper in korea. But because of cultural differences, nobody looked him. But he never gave up and finally climbed to top patiently. And during his rapper life, he met a one of the greatest singer, T(her real name is Tasha). Although JK was very famous rapper, he didn't live like other male celebrities. He never cheats another female but he always looks his destiny, only tasha. Of course he is rapper, he usually writes his own lyrics and raps. Most of his raps are about his tough life or his own critical thoughts, etc. But some of them are very good lyrics about his true love, his lovely family and his happy life. So in conclusion, Tiger JK is one of the greatest rapper and good man.

My hometown is Sun-cheon, in Jeon-ra-nam-do. There is famous for beautiful natural landscape. And an international garden exposition will opened in 2013 at here.
I major in Public administration, because I prefer a stable job and  want to become a public official.
When i have free time, I enjoy playing the piano. But im not very well.
if i have many time and money, i want to go on a trip and take good pictures. I am interested in photography.
To speak and write a foreign language is very difficult to me. So i want to learn English and gain confidence.
